10th graders launch into the Fall with the PolliNation Expedition via an Expedition Kick Off at UC Davis, there students will engage with research faculty from the Department of Entomology and tour a bee pollinator garden as well as the University Campus. They are then off to Bowman Lake to engage in some adventure activities and learn about and role play through different societal structures all while strengthening the bonds with their Crew in the great outdoors.
The Spring 2019 Learning Expedition for 10th grade is Surviving and Thriving. Students will take part in many Fieldwork events including the annual Winter Camping trip as well as opportunities to work with local organizations that help and support people experiencing homelessness in Nevada County.
